A fungal disease attacking British Ash trees made the news this week, while the British prime minister accused the media of encouraging a witch hunt against the Tory party (in contrast to Work and Pensions Minister Ian Duncan’ Smith’s witch hunts against poor people). All this began to overtake the underlying story about a dead pervert with inexcusable dress sense.
